Guests from Karsakiskis

On September 26, 2004 we had the pleasure of hosting guests from village of Karsakiskis, Panevezys region. The exchange of ideas and forming of relationships were fruitfull. It was of particural interest hearing the stories of the master folklorist Kazyte Lazauskiene, who is said to have woven with her colloquial prose a tapestry of images that could stretch across all of Lithuania from her village to ours. A bond has formed between our communities and we plan to have a delegation form our village visit Karsakiskis in the near future.
